How to Fix the Xbox 360 E79 Error – What Will Fix It?

When you hear about Xbox 360 errors there are 2 errors that come up the most often, and more often than not these errors can be fixed without having to send your console off to Microsoft. These errors that xbox will not turn on are known as; the red ring of death or RRoD for short and the E74 error. Red Ring of Death: The Red Ring of Death is caused by a mal-functioning GPU (Graphics Processing Unit). This can happen for many reasons. Perhaps the standard production thermal paste is worn out or perhaps the chip itself has become loose from the motherboard due to use of cold solder, which can leave air bubbles in between the chip and the motherboard causing it to crack. Everyone in the gaming world knows that the Xbox 360 is the king of gaming consoles at the moment. But what some may not know about are some of the problems that the system may come with.
