“Shame” a film by Mohammed Naqvi which is doc version of the dramatic script tells the true story of international human rights icon Mukhtaran Mai, a Pakistani peasant who was gang-raped and publicly humiliated in her village, but used her trauma to proceed with legal revolution that exposed centuries of brutal tribal conflict of the cruel society and government negligence into the case.
