Madonna Nominated for Hall of Fame
Madonna nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Madonna and disco queen Donna are among nine acts nominated for the Hall, among other nominees include US rock singer John Mellencamp, Canadian poet-singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. Also 1960s English band the Dave Clark Five and instrumental Rock Band The Ventures are among others. The five leading vote-getters will be inducted by five hundred music industry professionals in the annual ceremony on March 10, 2008, at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
