Dutch TV-The Donor Show
A Dutch TV contest that aired on friday showing a dying woman choose a patient to receive her kidneys was a hoax. The donor in the show was in fact an actress- though the three people vying for an organ were real patient in need of a kidney transplant, the idea has captured a lot of criticism since it was first announced..and turns out it all a hoax as the terminally ill woman was an actress. The producer say it was made to highlight the shortage of Dutch donors.
