Anona Fleece lives with her family in a town where she has no friends. She has a husband who abuses and hurts her from time to time, and kids are disrespectful. she lives in a neighborhood with no friends to console with. All of these change when a Imogene Cochran moved in the community. Imogene sells Kathy K. Kosmetics to Anona, and a new friendship evolves into something more. When Anona’s husband discovers her wife is having a lesbian affair with Imogene, they had a heated arguement, with Anona ending up accidentally killing him.

When her political-activist daughter calls him on the phone that she’s coming home, he sees nothing wrong with it and even looked forward to seeing her. But a sudden turn of events unfold when they came home and her daughter gets killed in what news indicates was originally intended against him.
